Food Buying Club Starts in Doylestown

The Doylestown Food Club (DFC) aims to bring local consumers and local producers together, creating a self-sustaining local food economy, in which producers take care of the soil, plants, and animals; and consumers nourish themselves and their families while supporting local growers and producers.
We look for sustainable practices by expert farmers, ideally polycultural where that is possible; organic where that is possible; humane where that is possible; and nearby where that is possible. We strive to find the best products (sustainably, humanely, organically) raised by the best experts at the fairest price as near to our home as we can.
We are a 100% volunteer operation. It is our hope to open a brick and mortar local foods co-op in the near future. New members to our club are welcome and can join us through our Meetup website. Membership on the site is free; however, only dues paying members are eligible to order. Our current distribution night is every other Thursday at 6:30, and our distribution is hosted by The Goddard School at 100 Farm Lane in Doylestown.
Current producers for the club include Happy Farm, Hendrick's Farm and Dairy, Solebury Orchards, Blue Moon Acres, Purely Farm, The Grain Exchange, Rick's Eggs, Trauger's Farm Market, Manoff Market Gardens, Meadow brook Farms, Tall Pines Farm, and the Coffee Scoop. We are adding new producers all the time! We hope you can join us!
